Dawn Goodolf, PhD, RN

Dawn M. Goodolf, PhD, RN, received a BSN from West Chester University, an MSN in Nursing Education from DeSales University, and a PhD from Widener University, where her studies have focused on Nursing Science/ Nursing Education.

Dr. Goodolf is currently the Associate Dean of the Helen S. Breidegam School of Nursing and Public Health at Moravian University. Before assuming this position, she served as the Director of the RN to BSN and Accelerated BSN programs. She also serves as a site evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Dr. Goodolf’s acute care experience came from 12 years in the Emergency Department and positions in the Intensive Care and Trauma units. Her acute care background is in adult health, emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma nursing. In addition to acute care, other areas of expertise and passion include professional identity formation, global disaster preparedness and management, building healthy work environments, nursing education, and qualitative research.
